Hmm... Like the title says, this is more boring stuff that you will either disagree with so strongly that you'll hate me for a little while... or you'll agree... in either case absolutely nothing in the world will change. This is not intended to convert anyone to another religion o_O And if you do, don't blame me.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Why do people choose to believe in this? Choose to believe that they're all sinners... (even though most of them probably are).. that they are not worthy... that doing something bad will send you to hell... but asking God for forgiveness will put you back on his good side... so really the choice whether you go to heaven or hell is yours... because according to the bible we're all sinners. But if you swallow your pride and beg on your knees for forgiveness... you'll turn into a sniveling coward afraid of something that isn't there... and go to heaven. If there really is a heaven and hell... then what is this? Just a test...? That doesn't comfort me... religion gives people the idea that no matter what they do here, they will always have another chance... their "soul" will never die... meh.. brainwashing.

Doesn't the bible say something along the lines of if you pray you'll get what you pray for.... hmm... has anyone counted up how many times people have prayed for.... a cure for cancer... world peace? (what a crock of shit)... did it get them anywhere? All it brought was a peace of mind that you have done your part. That all you need to do is sincerely ask an invisible being to grant you something... and he will do the rest... in that case he seems to have the mentality of a child. Probably sits there in his castle made of clouds and cotton candy and plays playstation...
Anyway. I can't think of any more cynical life questioning... questions... so I'll stop here. There will be more though. Muaha...
Christmas vacation wasn't all too bad. It's nice sitting around for a while. Even being bored beats going to school and worrying about finals. Of course we can never catch a break... Geometry review shit due on Monday... As is the lab report... And 4 analytical essays about "The Song of Roland"... Does anybody care about that? Honestly? Who needs lab reports... If you want to figure out how wide the damn water tower is google it. And what's up with history... I agree that it should be taught but who needs to get all analytical about it... if people think that teaching history will keep previous mistakes from happening then teach some to people who matter... like the government... not 14 year old kids who don't give a flying fart in space o_O Anyway... homework isn't the end of the world it's not even that hard... but the feeling that what you're doing is completely useless... that bugs me >_<
Do you (whoever "you" may be...) ever have those days when... err... I forgot what I was going to write... Too many thoughts... not enough room. What is happiness... is anyone ever truly happy... How ironic is it that the only people who say "Money doesn't buy happiness" have enough of it... I want money... money would buy things you desire... And that's pretty much the only thing to live for... Unless there's something else that I'm not seeing... I often think about what would make me happy... and honestly, I can't answer that question... Love doesn't make me happy... it just hurts... Having everything I could ever want... well that won't be worth anything if I have no one to share it with... But by someone I mean a friend...
Is life really short? I'm pretty sure it's the longest thing we'll ever do... Is there a point? Or are we just accidents and coincidences... Is the glass half full or half empty? Or just twice as big as it needs to be... We've generally gotten this far in life to supposedly "make it easier"... has anyone else noticed that it's just getting more complex... I doubt the Sumerians had depression... They were simple... Simplicity is better... We might end up going so far ahead that in 100 years we'll be back where we started... Stupidity tends to give a simpler life... I wish I were stupid... why bother thinking about the "meaning of life" or religion... even if by some odd miracle you do come up with an answer... what are the odds that it'll be right... Is finding the answer satisfying... even if you don't know that it's the right one? In today's world all we would do with the "meaning of life" is write it down and make a profit... Am I making any sense... Is death really as interesting as people think it is... Maybe that's all there is to it... you just die... How can you see a "white light" if you're dead... Maybe that's our way of making it seem "not so bad"... But it really isn't that bad... Not like anyone has a reason to stay here... to help people? What's the point they'll all die too... And if we were here to help the others... what are the others here for?
Well my rant is over. I have a head hurts so I'm done questioning life. Anyone have any tranquilizers... Those sound nice right now.
